Of Racing Queen Anne dining table and motorized Sofa

A Queen Anne dining table (set with silver) had been turned into a 130 mph vehicle. Perry Watkins, a British inventor, recently drove the table around a track last weekend to set the record for the world's fastest piece of furniture. Guinness has not yet accepted the record, but he easily eclipsed the 92 mph sofa that previously held the record.

While driving a motorized sofa, designed and built by Edd China (UK) for sofa.com, at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome, Leicestershire, UK, on May 11, 2007 Marek Turowski (UK) achieved a speed of 148 km/h (92 mph). Turowsk's feat had been included in the 2008 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records
